WINK – Corona – Olympic & Paralympic Games

Client: WINK
Project: Corona Cero – Official Partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games
Location: Paris
Role: Project Manager

As Project Manager for the Athletes Village activation, Sytske spent over two months in Paris delivering a key element of WINK’s award-winning global campaign for Corona Cero — created to celebrate the truly golden moments of the Games.

The Cero Stress Zone — a cabana-style sanctuary inside the Olympic Village — offered athletes a space to unwind, recharge, and be fully present. Daily programming included guided meditation sessions and sun-drenched lounge areas, all designed to promote calm and balance amidst the intensity of competition.

The experience quickly gained traction on social media, but the golden moments didn’t stop there. WINK introduced a customisable Corona Golden Bottle, seeded discreetly among athletes as a subtle earned-media activation. The result? Athletes began sharing their own golden moments — propelling Corona to become one of the most talked-about sponsors of the Games.

BySytske’s Role:
Sytske led onsite project management for the Olympic Athletes Village Cero Stress Terrace, overseeing planning, production, team coordination and delivery on behalf of WINK. She navigated high-level approvals, sponsor restrictions, sustainability and DEI requirements, and the many accreditation and logistical challenges of operating in a secure environment — helping to ensure the calmest space of the Games was also one of its most impactful.

Her experience with London 2012 — working for Global Infusion Group dealing with compliance and accrediation — proved a major advantage in Paris. Drawing on her trusted network, Sytske assembled and led a dedicated team able to meet the daily operational demands of a high-security site and ever changing weather conditions. With continuous support from colleagues at WINK, AllDay and ADDLive, the team delivered a premium experience — from daily yoga, sound baths and meditation sessions, to chilled Corona Cero and the opportunity for athletes to engrave their personal
#GoldenMoment onto a limited edition golden bottle.

Highlights (too many to name, but here are a few):
– Securing accreditation for every single team member
– Managing the refreshing cold store (with outside temperatures topping 30°C)
– The Paralympics: the team spirit, sense of community, and resilience were unforgettable
– Finding a permanent home for every plant on site after the event

Ongoing work with WINK
Since summer 2024, Sytske has continued working with WINK as Project Manager on several high-profile Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions. These projects have involved coordinating bespoke teams across time zones, managing complex deliverables, and leading strategic responses under tight deadlines.

Alongside her project management role, Sytske has taken a leading position on compliance, governance, and due diligence — with a strong focus on sustainability and DEI practices. Her ability to align creative, operational, and ethical requirements has strengthened WINK’s proposals for major international events, a natural continuation of her collaboration with the agency on the Corona Cero Olympic activation.
